Chalk

I was totally going to skip this week’s I Heart Faces contest when I saw the theme was “chalk.” I should have got my act together a couple weeks ago when the them focused on cars/trucks etc because my model would have happily cooperated for that challenge but I knew I’d have a hard time getting a photo incorporating chalk since my most available model is not interested in becoming an artist or doing much of anything that doesn’t involve his dump truck or anythign with wheels of some sort. But I decided to get out and try anyways. If unsuccessful, at least I’d have spent some time outside with my boy in the morning before the temperatures hit 100 and my boy loves to be outside. Of course the dump truck had to come with, those two are BFFs these days but I did get him to draw with chalk for a good 3 minutes before he abandoned the idea completely. As a compromise, he decided to use the chalk and the dump truck together, using the truck to transport the chalk back and forth. And yeah, the truck was missing the bucket part, but he doesn’t care as long as it drives!

Now I need to pick one and enter it!
