Project 52: Week 4| Lines| Inland Empire Family Photographer

Lines. In hopes of finding some inspiration, I googled line. Yes, I googled it. Dictionary.com listed over 80 items for the noun listings. That didn’t narrow it down for me! There are so many ways to interpret this week’s assignment so I hope you all follow our little bloggity-blog links to see how the other photogs in our group visualized the word. I know I can’t wait to see the variety that such a broad term is bound to result in!

Laura’s Take: I ended up shooting one of my favorite singers (and favorite people!), The Lovely Ms. AmiBeth from The Flying Electric Candy Stand (Hubby’s Super Fun Band!) is always up for a shoot! I have had my eyes on this building that is super close to home and finally got to shoot at it! I think I have a new favorite to add my local spot list! I will post more from this session later:)I just loved the contrast of the straight lines from the wall against her super curly hair!

Kristen’s take: I seriously had the biggest headache on this assignment. I had no idea what I was going for and had the busiest week leaving no time to really come up with anything. This afternoon Cole and I spent some time in the backyard, me pulling weeds and him playing with his cars. We found this little guy and I took a couple photos of him. Then later as I was going through my possibilities for the assignement I noticed that Mr. Grasshopper was sitting nicely on a couple lines! So I threw out the ones I was thinking of using and though I’m not in love with Mr. Grasshopper, it works. I think. I’ll do better next week!

And don’t forget to check out Teresa from Wild Sugar Photography’s interpretation of “lines” here: Tampa Bay baby photographer – Teresa Wilds

that building looks awesome and your friend is fabulously posed there with her leading lines and all.
Awesome.

How nice of Mr Grasshopper to sit on 2 lines for you, and I love the 2 lines of his legs.
