My husband and I took our dog and Momster (I fondly refer to my Mother in Law as Momster.
Short for Monster in Law.) out to Santa Monica to take advantage of the gorgeous day. After a day of sunshine at the pier, we drove through Hollywood and stopped at Irv’s Burgers (http://www.yelp.com/biz/irvs-burgers-west-hollywood).
I had never been but Hubby and Momster have gone before and had stories to tell about this place! Apparently the lady who works behind the counter is the nicest person in the world. Super friendly. And she draws a picture of each person on their plate.
We had the dog with us and I had never had the Irv’s Burgers experience before so Hubby sent me to order so I could see this super nice lady for myself and he would sit with Oliver. Yeah. Soooo stinkin nice! She of course teased me because I was paying for lunch while Hubby sat back and relaxed with the dog. She said how nice it was for me to treat my man to a late lunch.
I wanted to see what my drawing was going to look like. Even more than I wanted to eat. At last, this super sweet lady brings out our trays…

Yeah. I will be back at Irv’s Burgers to see our plate artist again the next time I am in Hollywood. And to top it off, my turkey burger was DELISH! Happy Valentine’s Weekend! Home you all spend some time with the ones you love! And make a new memory! Even if it is a silly plate drawing!
