Laura’s Take: Last summer I started running. I did a few 5K mudruns and became addicted to the thrill of the finish line. The sense of accomplishment. From there I started on bigger runs. After my first 2 half marathons I completed my first full marathon with a long time friend at my side. 26.2 miles in one race. About 60 miles in that small handful of runs. My feet carried me over each of those finish lines, over all of those miles. That is a lot of abuse and my feet deserve some time off! So here my feet… laying on the beach in Santa Monica. In February. I love living in Southern California!

BTW- I am NEVER going to do another marathon! NEVER! Except maybe… possibly… just one one more… yeah, my feet are in for more abuse! LA Marathon this year maybe?!
Kristen’s take: Uh, yeah, I don’t run. Unless it’s down the street chasing my almost three year old who thinks he is 7. My feet aren’t cute either. But luckily these feet are!

And because I never can decide what to post, here’s what his feet look like the rest of the time!

Now check out Teresa from Wild Sugar Photography’s take on this week’s theme!: Tampa Bay baby photographer – Teresa Wilds

Perfect feet of yours….very proud of all your running and kids feet are priceless….
uh, yeah, I’m totally jealous of the S. Cali weather! Great shots!
awesome texture on the first picture….and great captures of the kids feet!
We should all be proud of our feet, they work hard
Love the texture and colors, Laura! Cute little piggies, Kristen!
Awesome shot Laura – I love how you can barely make out the park in the background. And you did a marathon?!?! I wanna be like you when I grow up.
Kristen – your bathroom has awesome light! I can’t believe he is not yet three and already on the skateboard – very cool!
Great shots…and I know how you feel – never again, but maybe once more to see if you can do a little better.
