The Lakers and a Monkey| Redlands Newborn Photographer

It has always been my dream to be considered someone’s “official family photographer”. To be there to document the various stages of life. Recently, I have realized that my dream is coming true! A few years ago, when I was just learning my way around a wedding, I shot Vanessa and Patrick’s wedding. I ADORED their entire family instantly! Since then I shot her sister’s engagement session and wedding and now… I was able to do a newborn session for Vanessa and Patrick’s first son!

Kade was super sleepy and cooperative, thanks to his Grandma who I now refer to as “The Baby Whisperer.”


They had a house full of friends and it is obvious that Kade is already used to the sounds of friends, family and laughter! I have to tell ya, it is a good thing that laughter didn’t bother Kade because when I used my new “sock monkey” outfit for a few shots I got a fit of the giggles! I mean, come on, a teeny tiny sock monkey baby?! The cutest thing ever! Am I right?!

Dad had a few requests…

I am going to keep him waiting to see his Dodger’s shots!

Thank you so much Patrick and Vanessa for inviting me into your lives for all of these moments! Kade is such a lucky boy to be a part of such a fun and loving family! What amazing parents you already are! <3
