The theme for this week is “green” but since tomorrow is Cole’s third birthday today’s post is also going to be all about him. Cole was supposed to be born on St. Patty’s day. Or his due date was that day anyways. And he almost was. But Cole has proven to be difficult his entire life and missed it but 4 hours. While he is certainly not the easiest child, he is definitely a fun one! He started to crawl at 6 months and has been going non-stop ever since. He started skateboarding at 14 months, jumping off things taller than himself before he hit 1 1/2, and mastered the two-wheel bike (with no training wheels) a couple months ago. Nothing would make him happier than to get a motorcycle for his birthday. He will not be getting a motorcycle anytime soon. I don’t even know how we made it three years with no broken bones but so far my wild child is still in one piece. I look forward to seeing what crazy things he gets into in the next few years!!!
Laura and I took Cole out for his birthday pictures a couple weeks ago and knowing that this week fell on his birthday I hoped to find a way to incorporate the theme into at least one of his pictures. And then somehow we ended up at this green door and it couldn’t have been more perfect. We made sure to include Oliver in some of the photos too, since his third birthday is right around the corner as well!

Now check out Jennifer’s take on this week’s theme…. Jennifer of Romeo & Mae – Fort Wayne – IN
