Project 52 – Week 9 : Friendship

Two-year olds generally haven’t quite mastered the concept of friendship yet. So sharing your trucks is sometimes how you show friendship. Especially when you LOVE your trucks. But don’t ask him to share his bike!

I was pretty sick all weekend. Like curl up on the couch with a blanket for 2 days not eating sick. Then I got a phone call from my neighbor, Jack. (He’s 4) It went something like this:
Jack: I’m going to Miguel’s to get food. Want me to get you lunch since your sick?
Laura: Oh, yes please! I’ll take a kid’s meal!
Jack: …..long silent pause….. ::yells:: MOM! She said she wants a KIDS meal! Bahahahaha!
Jack: Um. You’re not a kid.
::fast forward to Jack knocking on my door with lunch::
Jack: Um, I think I should eat here with you so then I can play with my best friend Oliver.
Little boys and dogs make the best friends. They love without question. And provide plenty of reasons to laugh out loud. Or swoon <3

**Disclaimer: For those of you are Oliver fans, you may notice the shot I used doesn’t actually have Oliver in it. Jack’s other best friend, Mojo, came over to join the best friend party. When you are 4 there is no limit on best friends!**
