Twice as Nice Photography

So I officially resigned from this project last week. I haven’t been giving it my all with my crazy busy schedule… and then an “easy” theme came along so I invited myself to pop back into the rounds for the week! If you have lost track, basically each week “we” are given a theme. “We” is a group of photographers from across the country that all love to create beautiful images and see inspiring work from other photographers! My favorite recent source of color is the gorgeous New Providence Island in the Bahamas. I traveled there for 11 glorious days for an Earthwatch Expedition and was instantly in love with everything about the island. Here is why:

I literally have hundreds more amazing, colorfilled images from this fabulous, life changing experience but I will leave you with just one more image and a lesson I learned on the island. Relax, Slow down, enjoy life on island time Our entire Earthwatch Crew:

So if you have been following along, for the entire year, a group of photographers from across the country our tackling a weekly theme for our Project 52. I have been slacking on this project and haven’t had a post for the past 2 weeks. I have all these grand ideas but a shortage of time! And let’s be real… I need my after work nap!This week I did not do any better. The theme is Height/length and being a teacher a bunch of cute ideas involving rulers popped into my head. But here is the problem with ideas that involve my classroom… I’m pretty much busy when I am there, you know, teaching! Ha! So for now I am posting yet another shot from the gorgeous lighthouse wedding. If I could make every week’s theme fit a shot from that weekend I totally would! One of these days we will actually catch up and blog the last few weddings, portrait sessions and oh, yeah, P52 posts but for now, here is a tall lighthouse!
